Reflective glass is being processed one layer or more than one layer of metal ,nalloy or metal compound.According the characteristics,they can be devided into heat-relfecting glass and low emissivity glass.
Heating -Reflecting glass, We usually plate the film of metal, nalloy or metal compound on the surface of the glass. Such as the Chromium alloy ,titanium alloy.So the color of the heating-reflecting glass is rich.Appropriate transmittance to visible light.It has high reflectivity for near-infrared rays,There is a very low transmittance.So it is also known as sunlight control glass.Compared with ordinary glass, the shading coefficient is reduced,that is,the shading performance is improved,but the heat transfer coefficient is not changed much.
Low-radiation(LOW-E)glass is a thin film of silver,copper or tin or other metals or other compounds coated on the surface of glass.The product has a high transmittance to visible light,a high reflectivity to infrared light,and a good thermal insulation. Owing to the poor strength of the film,it is generally made into hollow glass and not used alone.
